About the Role

We have an opening for a senior-level business solutions analyst to lead business analysis and provide hands-on support throughout all SDLC activities. As a Senior Business Analyst with our team, you are visionary, customer-focused, and outcome-driven. You will collaborate with a diverse team of internal and external stakeholders and project team members to design, develop, and deliver creative solutions to meet program objectives, solve complex challenges, and drive successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Lead project stakeholders in the analysis process to elicit and document project requirements.

  • Perform requirement validation and decompose requirements into functional and non-functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

  • Produce professional-quality project artifacts including but not limited to business requirements documents, use cases, issue logs, and test cases

  • Document requirements and work with technical teams to provide solutions to promote data integrity and meet the needs of the business.

  • Serve as a critical resource and liaison between subject matter experts and technical experts throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Assist in the estimation of time required to deliver project artifacts and report progress toward delivery of goals throughout the project.

  • Identify and communicate risks and provide mitigation strategies.

  • Participate in all areas of testing (unit, systems, performance, batch, UAT, integration, regression, ad-hoc) following Quality Assurance principles for each project release.

  • Conduct test results validation and troubleshooting, in conjunction with end-users and development teams, to reproduce issues, investigate defects, and debug software.

  • Develop and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices, with bi-directional traceability for each requirement from inception to implementation and link requirements with related work products and test scripts.

  • Develop user training material and provide user training.

  • Assist in application support and management of defects, enhancements, and change requests.

  • Support business strategy development focused on providing business value

  • Develop and maintain business process mapping.

  • Documenting and implementing business process flows.

  • Develop business rules that analyze customer data and trigger actions to proactively engage with customers.

  • Make recommendations to improve efficiencies through the development and adoption of best practices and standardized procedures.

What you need to succeed – Five (5) or more years experience in the following:

  • Experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.

  • Experience with quality assurance, process improvement, and re-engineering.

  • Experience applying analytical processes on IT projects.

  • Experience creating technical documentation such as business requirements, use cases, user stories, test plans, interface control documents, training manuals, and user support manuals.

  • Experience in all SDLC activities, including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, implementation, and maintenance.

  • Experience developing, executing and maintaining test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts utilizing automated testing tools.

  • Experience facilitating security, performance, and load testing.

  • Solid process and analytical skills tied with creative thinking and sharp decision-making abilities.

  • Experience in agile development project life cycle, running multiple sprints.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse group of people.

  • Self-starting, ability to work with minimal direct supervision; takes ownership.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (PMI-PBA) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
